The Wondermakers, now in their 25th season, perform interactive story theatre and have given over 3,000 performances throughout New York, Florida, and Ohio. The many theatres, festivals, and museums The Wondermakers have performed at include The Alleyway Theatre, The Lancaster Opera House, The Fredonia Opera House, The Strong Museum, The George Eastman House, The Buffalo Science Museum, The Historical Society of Buffalo and Erie County, and The Carrousel Museum. The Wondermakers have performed outdoors for the M & T concert series and have been the opening act for Bob McGrath from Sesame Street. Schools and libraries have had Wondermakers performances in many locations including Kissimmee, St. Cloud, Orlando, Sarasota, Venice, Tampa, Cleveland, Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Rochester, Corning, Utica, and Syracuse. All Wondermakers performers are professional actors with a commitment to theatre, improvisation and education. The programs are based on folktales from many world cultures and tie in closely with State Standards for the Arts, Language Arts, and Social Studies as well as Character Education.
