Gail Golden, founder and Artistic Director of The Wondermakers, is a published playwright, award-winning screenwriter and actress whose roles include Cinderella's Fairy Godmother at Disney World and Mrs. Claus for Macy's, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld. She has appeared in films with Jimmy Fallon and Sharon Stone, and she was the original voice of Strawberry Shortcake. Ms. Golden has a BFA in Theatre from Ithaca College and an MA in Humanities from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is a certified Theatre, Speech, and English teacher and taught for Fulton County Schools in Atlanta. In addition, Ms. Golden is a professional improvisor who performed with Comedysportz for 6 years and studied improv at Second City Toronto, Chicago City Limits, and The Groundlings in Los Angeles.

Doug Legan, producer for the Wondermakers, combines his experience in theatre with his love of kids and knowledge of childhood education and development. He received his BA in theatre, music and dance from Washington State University, and was the acting coach at the Director's Studio in Seattle and New York. He designed and taught children's water safety and first aid classes for the American Red Cross, spent 6 years as summer camp director, and has designed and directed several vacation bible schools . Moving to Florida in '96, he was lead of the Epcot Acting Company @ Walt Disney World, and has worked for Universal Studios and Busch Gardens in Tampa. Doug is also Producer for Dramatic Solutions, an interactive business theatre company

Avis-Marie Barnes our webmaster, is originally from Montclair, New Jersey, and a BFA graduate of Howard University. For the past sixteen years in Florida, she has appeared as characters in a number of television roles – ‘Keenan and Kel’, ‘SeaQuest’, ‘Dawson’s Creek’ ‘One Tree Hill’, Army wives and most recently "The Glades on A&E. Films for television and movie releases have included ‘Jeepers Creepers’ in the role of Officer Watson, starring Gina Philips and Justin Long. and 'The Wronged Man' - starring Julia Ormond for the Lifetime Network. In her spare time she has built many websites for small businesses through her company Bitter Bird Webs.

BRYAN HAYES was an actor, writer, and producer originally from Buffalo, New York. He studied at the Actors' Studio in NYC. Mr. Hayes' many Buffalo credits included "Scrooge" in THE CHRISTMAS CAROL at The Alleyway Theatre, multiple roles in LENNY for Erica Wahl's Cabaret, the lawyer in BABY DANCE for Buffalo United Artists, and the doctor in HARVEY at Desiderios Dinner Theatre. In 2001, Mr. Hayes relocated to Orlando where he appeared in Wondermakers shows for Osceola County Schools, Dramatic Solutions shows at Walt Disney World, and in Tony and Tina's Wedding. Mr. Hayes and Gail Golden first played opposite each other in 1986 in Gurney's THE PERFECT PARTY. That began their 20 year partnership which included Mr. Hayes appearing in dozens of Wondermakers shows including the award-winning 2 SMART 2 START. Mr. Hayes and Ms. Golden wrote, produced, and performed in Dramatic Solutions presentations from 1998 until Mr. Hayes' untimely death in 2007.
